Home to the Dipor Bil Wildlife Sanctuary, Kamrup district is located in the state of Assam. It is one of the few large colonies of greater adjutant storks still in existence. The ancient temples of Kamakhya and Hajo attract many pilgrims from all quarters. 

Located in this district is yet another Producer Organization with 100 members and we had an opportunity to interact with some of their artisans on 30th Nov and 1st Dec 2020. The preparations and the efforts taken by them to come together and have discussions with us was indeed noteworthy. The artisans were very keen to learn more about several business aspects and we are eagerly looking forward to having more interactions with them in the future.
