Keonjhar is a land locked district situated in the northern part of Orissa. The district of Keonjhar is highly rich in mineral resources and has vast deposits of iron, manganese and chromium ores. Keonjhar also contains one of the oldest rock formations in the world, which covers an area of 100 km2. The Kanjipani Ghati in this district is a picturesque natural panoramic spot with magnificent up rolling mountain ranges. The winter temperature goes to -‘0’ degree Celsius while clouds touches the valley during the rainy season!

It was a great pleasure to meet some of the members out of a total of 100+ members belonging to a Producer Organization located in this District. These artisans are experts in Handloom Cotton Fabrics. They had put in great efforts to get together for our interaction which speaks volumes about their diligence and commitment. It was really refreshing and inspiring to see their efforts and the eagerness on their part for new learnings. The vision they portrayed for their organisation during our interactions was a clear reflection of their positive attitude and the clarity they have in their minds.
